Financial controller
The Public Service Association, New Zealand’s largest trade union, is seeking a financial controller to manage the financial responsibilities of the organisation.
This is a hands-on role, working with a small team to deliver accurate day-to-day accounting, financial analysis, and advice. You will be responsible for all monthly reporting to the board, annual budget preparation, statutory reporting obligations and overseeing the organisation’s investments.
This role will suit a qualified chartered accountant who is interested in working in an organisation with a strong sense of purpose. You will be organised, able to work well with others, and your strong communications skills will be key in this collegial environment. Experience in reporting to a board will be an advantage.
This is a stimulating and challenging role for a financial controller and provides opportunities to extend your experience in areas such as property contract management and business development.
