Kia ora koutou! To introduce myself: I usually go by the name Danni, and I am a 26 year old, Pākehā, cisgender, bisexual woman
I grew up in the Rangitikei/Manawatū areas, but I now live in Pōneke. I work at the Ministry of Education in the Early Learning and Student Achievement space.
I am a proud union member and I am very excited to come on board to be a member of the Out@PSA committee. I am an organiser by nature and am hope to use my skills to best serve the collective community.
I am a staunch advocate for bisexual/pansexual people, and am always looking to raise up the voices of the more marginalised people within our community. I am raising a toddler in a same-sex relationship, so the subject of queer parenting is very close to my heart.
In my spare time, I’m a big reader, and I like to dabble in a bit of writing and knitting. I love history and visiting historical sites, and this year I am trying hard to expand my te reo Māori skills.
I’d love to talk with you, so feel free to reach out!
Ngā mihi,
Danni
