Madeline McZant

Kia ora team, My name is Maddy and I am very excited to be part of the OUT@PSA Network Committee.

The experience I bring to the role is based in communication and comedy. I currently perform Stand-Up and Improvised comedy at various locations around Christchurch, my wife provides regular inspiration for my performances.

I feel as though I have had a relatively privileged experience as part of the LGBTQIA+ community so want to be a support and fight for the rights of those who may not have been as fortunate. I work at the Ministry of Business, Innovation & Employment and am part of the Rainbow Network, Women in Leadership Network, a PSA delegate and am on the Diversity Team. I believe that everyone should feel safe and free to be their full selves no matter what environment they are in and am looking forward to working towards making our work spaces inclusive for all.
