Regional Rep - Northland/Auckland
Nia sa bula vinka
I am in Te Taitokerau, from Fiji of mixed decent from Aotearoa to the Pasific to the continents.
We have 6 children and 3 fur babies who are our biggest darlings. I love to be with my whanau and friends sharing good kai and connecting. I love making a home for everyone to come to and feel welcome at; my door is always open. I really enjoy being at the beach, fishing...well eating kai moana. I love to explore NZ in 'Audrey' our wee retro caravan, go for walks, decorating, (my former life as an interior designer and house stager still lingers) cooking, entertaining, reading and a good curl up to watch a good movie.
I work in the CPS sector for an NGO. I provide 24/7 care and run a Respite Mental Health and Disability Respite House alongside an awesome team. I am a delegate, a regional women’s noetwork representative and on the CPS sector committee. I am a proud member of our PSA: Pasifica, ECO, Deaf and Disabled, Ethics and Out.
I am passionate and will speak up and stand up about perusing Human Rights for all: Tangata Whenua, LGBT, Racialized Workers, Young Workers and Workers with disabilities.
