Auckland Allied Bargaining 2015-16

Auckland Allied Public Health and Technical offer is accepted

The vote on whether to accept the proposed new multi-employer collective agreement closed at 5 pm on 6th May. The results of the ratification vote are as follows:

Votes in favour: 96%

Votes against: 4%

The MECA has therefore been ratified by PSA members and will come into effect in early June once the bargaining fee process has been completed.

Bargaining fee ballot

Bargaining fee ballots will be conducted in each of the DHBs commencing on 16th May. Members are urged to vote in favour of the bargaining fee.  This will mean that non-members who want the PSA deal must pay a bargaining fee equivalent to a union fee on a fortnightly basis. Information on the bargaining fee process will be sent out soon.

Feedback on campaign

We will also be sending out a survey for members to provide feedback on the campaign and bargaining organisation. This will help us plan for the next round in August 2017.

Regional delegates meeting

This planning will be presented to delegates on the 21st June so keep the morning free and we will be in touch with more details.

Thanks to our wonderful delegates

Your delegates on the bargaining team did a magnificent job. We owe them thanks for their determination to get an acceptable deal for members.
