Kia ora e te whānau, I have the privilege of being the Rangatahi Representative for the Public Service Sector.
I have been a worksite delegate since 2016 for the Māori Land Court in Te Waipounamu, Ōtautahi (Christchurch). I have also been a Rūnanga delegate since early 2018 for the Ministry of Justice, covering the South Island rohe.
I was recently elected to be the Rangatahi Representative for Māori youth in the Public Service Sector. I am passionate about what our challenges are and how we can be developed as young leaders for the future of the Public Service. I have dreams that Māori will be highly represented in our senior leadership and in the decisions that impact our whānau but in order to get there we need to come together and work towards common goal.
I am proud to be Māori and am excited to start our haerenga towards making a better working life for Māori.
