I am the Co-convenor of PSA State Sector, and I work at the New Zealand Qualifications Authority. I work as a School Relationship Manager supporting assessment in secondary schools.

Before this I was a PPTA representative, a secondary teacher and an Arts Advisor in Tamaki Mākaurau and Sydney.

Experience tells me that being part of a union protects workers’ rights, gives us a collective voice, and helps us build the equity we need in our workplaces.

I’m proud of our growing union membership at NZQA and across our PSA sectors. It’s important that each worksite grows its union presence and represents those views effectively to management.

I see being part of this committee as an opportunity to help build cross-sector links for workers.
