Carolyn Timmins (National Convenor | Walking Delegate)

Executive Officer | Palmerston North

Worksite: I am Convenor of Community Corrections National Delegates, National Delegate for Taranaki/Whanganui & Manawatu/Wairarapa Districts and also representing Administration Roles, Executive Officer for Palmerston North Psychologists team, and a Health & Safety Representative.

How long have you been a delegate? I have been a delegate for over four years.

Why did you want to be a delegate? I became a delegate to provide support for my colleagues and to work alongside the Department to improve conditions for staff and to identify ways that we can better carry out the work we do.

What are you passionate about? I am passionate about health and wellbeing and enjoy being active and spending time outdoors.  I also value relationships and believe it’s important that everyone (both at work and outside of work) has support available to them when they need it.
