Climate Change is a Union Issue: Sign on to Climate Marches
In early December, governments from all around the world will be gathering in Paris to make a fresh commitment to addressing climate change.
On 28/29 November, the weekend before the Paris climate talks, marches will take place in hundreds of cities all around the world, with the goal of creating the largest ever mobilisation on climate change.
People will come together for many reasons – for climate justice and a safe climate; for renewable energy and jobs in the transition to the clean economy; to care for people and protect nature.
In New Zealand, the PSA and other unions are supporting the People’s Climate March 2015 , with the largest march planned for Auckland. There are also activities happening in other centres.
