Christchurch PSAY end of year event

Christchurch PSAY end of year event

There were several PSA Youth gatherings around the country this month.

In Dunedin, PSAY hosted a very successful quiz night last Thursday, with 14 teams of 6! This was open to the whole of the PSA, with teams from a range of sites including IRD, Dunedin City Council, students and a few PSA staff. It was competitive and went down to the wire, as each workplace had the pride of their workplace at stake. A team from Corrections won the prize, so congratulations to them.

PSAY Wellington members met for end of year drinks on Thursday also. There was a great turnout, including new PSA national secretary Glenn Barclay, and it was a relaxed way to meet with other PSA members in Wellington and have some time out in the busy lead up to Christmas.

In Christchurch, some PSAY members got together and talked about the future of work and what it means to us. They are looking forward to the next catch up in the new year.
