Free health and safety conference: 28 April 2015
"Towards Healthier and Safer Workplaces": for Health & Safety Reps and Delegates.
New Zealand has a poor record in workplace Health and Safety. In the aftermath of the tragedy at Pike River the government has established a new regulator (Worksafe) and will be introducing new legislation in 2015. This conference will provide an update, and consider the impact of these changes. It will also consider the role of H&S reps, workplace participation and Unions in contributing to making New Zealand workplaces healthier and safer.
Registration is free. To register, contact your organiser.
