New organisational designs for MSD and Oranga Tamariki released

The PSA has received the new organisational designs for the Future Ministry of Social Development and the Ministry for Vulnerable Children Oranga Tamariki.

"We are pleased the detail of the shape and structure of each ministry has been released," PSA National Secretary Glenn Barclay says.

"PSA organisers, delegates and members are working through the documents and discussing them.

"We are pleased that MSD has taken on board some of the feedback they received from the PSA and other stakeholders.

"We take on board comments from MSD chief executive Brendan Boyle about creating new ways of delivering services to the right people, and agree this is a unique opportunity."

The changes will come into effect on 1 April 2017.
