The PSA supports the Bill’s intention to put in place a regime that requires the Commissioner of Inland Revenue to regularly report on the performance of the taxation system against a set of principles. We are hopeful that this will support greater transparency and accountability in both the management and operation of the taxation system.
Our submission suggests some way to improve the legislation.
